Who We Are

Mokonisa Coffee started in 1996 in a small village called Mokonisa, high up in the mountains of Sidama, Ethiopia. We grow our own organic coffee on our highland farms, process it at our washing stations, and export it to the world. Our coffee is known for its fresh berry taste, floral aroma, and smooth, clean finish.

Over 40 years of experience in the coffee production industry.

Tadele founded Mokonisa Coffee in 1996 and has led the company from a single washing station to a full export operation. His expertise spans organic farming, processing, and international trade, with deep roots in the Sidama highlands.

Wubshet oversees day-to-day operations and export logistics. With over eight years in specialty coffee, he ensures quality from farm to shipment and builds lasting relationships with buyers worldwide.

Leul supports operations across our washing stations and farms. His experience in quality control and farmer coordination helps keep our supply chain smooth and our standards high.
